Cancun, Mexico Tourism
Cancun is located in the Caribbean north-northeast of the Yucatan Peninsula waterfront, is a 21 km long and 400 meters recorded on the beautiful island. In the Mayan language, Cancun means “hanging on the end of the rainbow kind of jar,” is considered joy and happiness symbol.
In 1972 the Mexican government has invested heavily in building a tourist area and free trade center, focusing on the development of tourism, started in 1975 to receive tourists. Cancun has been ranked the world’s seventh largest beach resort.
